History Of Silver

History Of Silver

There are major bullish factors that have set the stage for a possible gain of extraordinary magnitude. In 1942 the U.S. government had over 3 billion ounces of silver. What most people do not know is that the government has run out of silver, even the national defense stockpile is gone. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) there is less silver remaining underground than any other metal. This makes silver the most rare of all precious metals, 10 times more than gold!

Over 90% of all silver that has been mined in the last 5,000 years has been used and is gone forever. World silver inventories are at the lowest point in 200 years. The industries that have demands for silver are endless; technology, communication, weaponry, medical equipment and solar panels, just to name a few. These industries require 850M to 1 billion ounces of silver each year globally and growing; while the average silver mined per year is only 700-900M ounces. The US stockpiles are gone and there is only 350 million ounces left in all of the known and recorded silver commodity warehouses and depositories. The increase in demand and decrease in supply makes silver an extraordinary commodity.

OUR MOST SOUGHT AFTER SILVER PRODUCT
Morgan Silver Dollars were minted between 1878 and 1904. Coinage of the silver dollar was suspended after 1904 when demand was low and the bullion supply became exhausted. Under provisions of the Pittman Act of 1918, nearly 270 million Morgan
Dollars were melted down to silver bars for export, causing some dates to become rare. In 1921, Morgan Dollars were again minted as an encore and the last year of the series. Although Morgan Dollars were minted in large quantities from 1878 through 1904,
because of the a silver shortage, very few have survived through today. Further melting occurred in the 1960’s and 1980’s when silver prices skyrocketed. Only about 17% of the total number of Morgan Silver Dollars minted, have survived.

Morgan Dollars offer all the advantages of silver bullion, plus the added benefit of preservation and unlimited upside potential that comes with owning scarce collectible coins. When the market heats up, classic silver coins like the U.S. Morgan Silver Dollars
and Peace Silver Dollars can appreciate in various ways besides their underlying silver value. Our recommendation: for privacy and protection, a strong BUY!
